Psoriasis is a chronic disease that sometimes goes away and comes back.

Psoriasis can only be diagnosed by a doctor, preferably a dermatologist. However, most of the time, psoriasis lesions are so characteristic that simple observation can determine whether psoriasis is present.

It is not recommended to use it during the day because if you are in the sun, your skin may become blotchy. Also, skin cells regenerate during the night when resting, so it is best to use it only at night.

Nopsor Soap is used as a skin preparation before applying Nopsor ointment, this while the lesions are being treated.
However, when in the maintenance stage, Nopsor soap, in any of its presentations, can be used at any time, in the daily bath.

A neutral or oatmeal soap or shampoo can be used.

A very thin layer is recommended, and only where there are lesions. The ointment can be easily spread on the skin as it is petroleum jelly based.

Nopsor ointment contains coal tar and this stains clothing. It is recommended to have pyjamas and sheets for this purpose while treating lesions during the first stage of treatment.

It is recommended to use the Nopsor Ointment and Soap together for at least one month, normally after 3 weeks you should start to see positive changes in the lesions. It is expected that between 1 and 3 months the lesions can be controlled. But this varies for each person and therefore discipline in application and patience is recommended to see results.

In general, the older the lesions are, the longer it takes to bring them under control.
